There is no one right path to meditation. If anyone says that there is one way to meditate, be very cautious. Meditation is simply being present and bringing in self awareness to your feelings and thoughts. When I find myself hiking on a mountain, I am easily able to tune out the noise of the world. With immediate challenges, risk of danger, and breathtaking nature, all your senses tune in to the presence and your mind becomes much more clear. Everyone should go on hikes and adventures.
